  1. Love the top piece (Malysh)-- great atmosphere. I wrote to you once before, but wanted to again express my gratitude for your blog and your dedication to Russian/Soviet Impressionism. This genre of painting is a huge influence on my work here in Oregon, USA. I wish I could visit you sometime and paint together. We have a 7 year daughter who is showing real talent in drawing and my wife is a musician, so we are an artist family. Anyway, it's good to be able to share -- please keep up the inspiring posts.

Best wishes to you and your family.
